Maremma Holidays in Tuscany
The Serraiola farm is located on the border with the provinces of Livorno and Pisa, in one of the most beautiful areas of the wild Tuscan Maremma, owned by the Lenzi family since the late 1960s.
The farm covers 40 hectares, 12 of which are dedicated to vineyards. Alongside traditional Tuscan vines such as Sangiovese and Vermentino, new vineyards have been planted with international varieties: Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Marsanne, Roussanne, Merlot and Syrah.
Since 1994, Doc Monteregio di Massa Marittima and more recently Doc Maremma Toscana wines have been produced.
The farm also produces anexcellent extra virgin olive oil.
An olfactory pathway leads the interested party to “immerse themselves” in perfume to understand a fascinating world full of emotions.
The Sogno Cosmetici route is interactive, where you can smell over 30 selected odours.
Experience and training dedicated to the culture of smell and perfume, discovering raw materials and practising the art of perfumery.
It helps to deepen one’s knowledge of fragrances and one’s olfactory sensibility, offers insights to nourish the sensory imagination by drawing on historical resources and offers a brief practical application.
The perfume is narrated and explained from history to creation, involving and exciting the visitor, then we move on to “Extraordinary Feeling”: Emotion and memories, we find ourselves in front of drawers of memory, guided only by emotion, because when we smell a scent we are transported by the sensitivity of the moment and the memory, entering a personal sensory dimension. The next part will be on how to create a perfume from raw materials and the creation of a small perfume, following one’s own “Nose”, which everyone can take away.
